Meet The Dentist

Dr. Koleilat is originally from Beirut, Lebanon and received his DDS from St. Joseph University School of Dental Medicine in 2018. Towards the end of his training, he developed an interest in surgical dentistry, implant dentistry and periodontal plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Koleilat then pursued specialty training in Periodontics at the University at Buffalo School of Dentistry where he received his specialty certification and completed a Masters in Oral Sciences. Dr. Koleilat was selected as the Chief Resident during his 3rd year of residency and was the recipient of the Feagans Clinical Postgraduate Scholarship Award in 2021 for his high standard of care, ethics and professionalism.

Dr. Koleilat is a proud member of the American Academy of Periodontology, and actively attends annual meetings, seminars and workshops nationally and internationally. Dr. Koleilat’s passion for dentistry stems from his willingness to help others and serve his community. He is member of a humanitarian oral health mission, ‘UB Global Miles for Smiles’, which aims to improve the oral health and wellbeing of children around the globe.

In his free time, Dr. Koleilat enjoys playing soccer, reading and is an avid coffee drinker. He and his wife like to explore local coffee shops and nearby parks with local hiking trails. Dr. Koleilat is eager to meet you and your families and looks forward to becoming part of Michigan’s community!
